3. Application of Ferrous Sulphate :
1.Soil Improvement, Good Fertilizer
Agricultural grade ferrous sulfate is used to adjust the pH of the soil.can make the soil alkaline smaller,can be added to the plant;Also be used as fertilizer, is a catalyst for the manufacture green pigment of plants, there is an important role for plant uptake.
2.Water Treatment
Ferrous sulfate has been applied for the purification of water by flocculation and for phosphate removal in municipal and industrial sewage treatment plants to prevent eutrophication of surface water bodies.
3.Colorant
Ferrous sulfate was used as a material of inks,most notably iron gall ink.It also finds use in wool dyeing as a mordant.
